The Mini toolbar is a type of context menu that displays when you pause the pointer over a marker or a callout. The Mini toolbar appears semitransparent at first. Then when you move the pointer to the Mini toolbar, it becomes solid and you can select the tool icons.

The tools in the Mini toolbar change depending upon the sections, elevations, plans, details, callouts, symbols, sheet models, drawing models, and saved views that are active in the model. And the type of marker that is selected also determines what tools populate the Mini toolbar.

The tools in the Mini toolbar pictured above, appear under the following circumstances.

• The model contains a section, elevation, plan, or detail callout.
• The model has a saved view that was created and placed in a drawing model.
• The drawing model is attached to a sheet model.

Tools available from the Mini toolbar include the following:

• Open Target – Opens the selected target model.
• Apply View – Applies a saved view in the 3D model.
• Clip Model by Callout – Clips the model from a callout.
• Show Callouts – Displays callouts in the design or sheet model.
• Display Sheet Annotations – Displays the annotations placed on the sheet model.
• Place View on Drawing or Sheet – Places the saved view, that was generated from a callout, on a drawing or sheet model.
